Your First Visit to Our Anacortes Practice
New practice members often remark how “homey” our office is. That’s good, because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable surrounding.
You will discover that our office is easy to find as it is located behind the Skagit State Bank on 14th Street and “O” Avenue. The parking lot provides ample parking and easy access to our office.
When you walk in, you will be greeted with a smile and directed through the new patient entry processing. You will want to bring your insurance information along with you so that our staff can help you with processing your claim.
Many people find the first visit to any doctor's office a bit stressful and they are nervous about this encounter. We make every effort to make this a comfortable experience for you and, at the same time, accomplish the business of gathering pertinent information.
Once your paperwork is completed, you will be asked to sit with the doctor and share your health needs in the privacy of his office. Once your health history is completed, you will be taken to the examination room where various examination procedures will be performed, depending upon your particular level of need.
These procedures may include: Surface EMG studies, computerized thermography, posture analysis, range-of-motion studies, reflex assessment, sensory assessment, orthopedic studies, muscle strength assessment, etc., and X-rays as deemed necessary to better understand your health needs.

A short video will be shown to you while your X-rays are being processed. You may then make arrangements for a followup visit to go over the examination findings with Dr. Jennings. You should expect this visit to take about 45 -55 minutes.
We Explain Everything First
The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your health goals and see if chiropractic is likely to help you. If it looks promising, a thorough examination will help identify the cause of your problem.
Practice Members appreciate that we explain everything in advance!
